STUDY OF JOSIAH

Read 2 Kings 22:1-20 and 2 Chronicles 34:1-8 followed by the prophet’s writing about the condition of the day in Zephaniah 1:1, 1:12, and 2:1-3. Once you see how God used His Word through His prophet to awaken Josiah to the need to keep God’s laws, read Deuteronomy 17:14-20 for the early prophecy concerning what is taking place. After reading the above scriptures, read 2 Kings 23:1-3 for the reason we must turn and follow God’s Word and the hope He gives us when we do.
